The body scan meditation is a relaxation technique used in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction or MBSR. During this meditation you will scan the different parts of your body that you can name from head to toe, and spend one or more breath cycles on each part to register the sensations as you inhale and let go of the tension as you exhale.
