Present Moment: Awakening the Senses

When we focus on our senses, we shift our attention to something that is in the present moment. When we are not focused on the present moment are often running on automatic pilot, moving from task to task without really choosing how we want to experience our lives.  We easily drift unawares into a busy ‘doing´ mode and repetitive thought patterns that can create additional stress.

With this practice, we can transform our experience by intentionally paying attention to it in in a different way. A way that enables us to become more engaged with our lives as we want them to be. By using our senses to bring our attention back over and over again, we can let go of unhelpful thoughts and come back to ´being´ mode where we experience increased calm and wellbeing.
